From timetables to training material, menus to manuals, the SmartCutTM A400 enables you to trim sheets of paper perfectly and quickly. Accurate: consult the gridlines marked on the metal base to be sure of an accurate finish. All measurements are shown in both cms and inches for maximum flexibility and ease of use and there are paper guides too for A6, A5 and A4 sizes for quick reference. The transparent edge guide with integrated ruler helps to hold paper firmly in place while trimming. Together these features ensure precise paper alignment and accuracy and an exact cut to minimise mistakes and wastage. Versatile: the SmartCut A400 comes with a standard straight blade – ideal for trimming documents, leaflets, CD cases and business cards. Change to a wave blade or perforated blade (these can be purchased separately) if you want to create anything with a perforated tear­off slip or decorative edge such as invitations or photographs. Safe: the rotary blade is fully enclosed inside a robust cover for safe usage in the office or classroom. Changing between Straight, Wave, and Perforated blades is easy: just pry open the blade cover, remove the screw that secures the blade holder in place, insert the replacement blade holder and tighten the screw, then replace the protective blade cover again.
